Anything that ruffles your feathers is just a reminder that you've got wings.

A million times a day, you can find something to irk you... turn on the TV, read a newspaper or listen in on your co-workers latest rant for a few minutes and you'll find yourself boiling over in no time. That's because there's always going to be something to complain about, just because someone doesn't see things the same way you do.

Do you really want your day to be all about THAT?

Oh, sure, you say "I can't help it" or "I've got to be informed about what's going on around me"... but, yes, you CAN help it... and, no, you don't need to be informed... if that information disrupts your inner peace.

Yes, I know it's your (spouse, kids, parents, siblings, insert your other choice here)... of course, drama just has this nasty knack of finding you.

It stops at YOU. You're the gatekeeper. You decide if it gets in or not... you let it get to you... or not.

When the wind blows against you, your feathers are going to get ruffled... but guess what... that means you've got feathers... attached to your WINGS.

And if you've got wings, you can FLY... you can RISE above it all.

So turn it OFF, tune it OUT and take it UP.

And, as always, keep the light on!
